Who are our Mid Sussex Summer holiday clubs for?
Just like all our holiday clubs based in Hassocks, Kudize Summer Holiday Club 2026 will provide activities for primary aged children from all over Mid Sussex and into East and West Sussex – anywhere from Haywards Heath to Hassocks, Burgess Hill to Brighton, and from Lewes to Lindfield.
And, if you have friends or family staying with kids from anywhere else in the world, they’re welcome to our holiday clubs too!
Why choose Kudize Club for your childcare this summer holiday?
We’ve been established for 10 amazing years and Kudize Club is Ofsted registered. We understand kids and know exactly how to provide play-rich environments for all kinds of children aged 4-11.
We offer loads of free play too, which is where we provide the children with loose parts (stuff like sticks / rope / pots and pans, etc.) so they get to choose their own activities for true self-expression. They can use their imagination and aren’t restricted to set activities; it’s all-round the best sort of play for child development and well-being.
Our families and children know and trust all our brilliant staff, so they have fun and learn new skills!

Each holiday club is themed, for example, Epic Adventures, Science Fiction Fun, and Let’s Go Round The World – check out our latest news page to see what we have planned next.
There is always a wide range of planned activities and workshops, for the children to enjoy each day, like science and STEM games, baking, sports and games, craft and making, and performance activities. It’s a no-pressure environment, so they can choose to join in or create their own play from the many resources we have on offer.
In the learning café, we explore different themed workshops or classes, such as arts and crafts like upcycling, and other making projects
In the main hall, we do wide group games like ‘Capture the Flag’, team treasure hunts and more
The outside play areas and backfield are for running around, sports tournaments like football and rounders, water fights, and skill-based challenges
Plus there’s the usual painting, crafting, junk modelling, den making, dressing up, Lego building, football, and sports – and of course, children can come up with their own play (which is the BEST kind of play)!

FAQs About Kudize Holiday Club
and Summer Holiday Club
Is Kudize Holiday Club just childcare for the holidays?
Not at all. While we know parents need reliable, safe holiday care, our real focus is on what happens while your child is with us.
Every day is built around free play, adventure, and hands-on activities designed to help children come home happier, healthier, and more confident — not just "looked after."
What kind of activities will my child do?
A super cool mix: arts and crafts, sports, STEM challenges, cooking, den building, dressing-up and imaginative play, and plenty of unstructured "loose parts" play where kids get to lead their own adventures.
Each week has a theme — from Summer Splash to Sci-Fi & Supernatural — so there's ALWAYS something new to look forward to.
Why does free play matter so much?
Free, child-led play builds confidence, problem-solving, social skills, and emotional resilience in ways structured activities alone can't. It's one of the best things you can give a child during the holidays — and it's at the heart of what we do!
Is the club only for children who qualify for HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) funding?
No — HAF-funded places are available for eligible families through West Sussex County Council, but the club is open to any family who wants to book, whether or not they qualify for funding.
Is this specifically for children with SEND?
No. While we welcome and support children with additional needs, Kudize Holiday Club is designed for all school-age children aged 4–11* — this isn't a specialist or needs-only service, it's a place for every child to thrive.
*We have a few special summer holiday club places for 'rising reception'. Please get in touch or register to find out about this year's dates!
Where is the club based, and who can attend?
We're based at Windmills Junior School in Hassocks, but families from across East Sussex, Mid Sussex, and West Sussex are welcome to join us — you don't need to live locally or attend a Hassocks school.
Does my child need to already go to Windmills Junior School?
No — children from any school are welcome to attend. If you have primary-age friends or family staying for the school holidays, book them in too!
What ages do you cater for?
School-age children aged 4 to 11. Once they've started at school, they can attend any spot. If they're just leaving nursery, they can come to one of our special days for 'rising reception '. Contact Kudize Club House for more info.
