Grilling:
When did you start working at Kudize?
I’ve worked at Kudize since 2022.
What qualification are you most proud of and why?
My uni degree. I worked hard for it and enjoyed uni so much. I would love to go back.
What’s your favourite thing about working in and around Hassocks?
I love the Hassocks community and running into people I know. And catching views of the Downs of course.
What’s your favourite thing about working with Kudize kids?
I love the funny things the kids come out with and watching their imaginations run wild when they play and create.
Do you have a secret talent? Or can you tell us something about yourself that most people would not know?
I used to be a DJ on 3 different radio stations in New York – indie, rock and pop stations.
What’s your super power when at work?
I can organise kids to put together a talent show in less than an hour. This includes, but is not limited to: stage builders, curtain makers, poster designers, ticket distributors, prop handlers, a costume department, various rehearsal rooms, music selection, a master of ceremonies, and of course diverse and top notch performances!
What’s your favourite time of year – and why?
I do love that September feeling when everyone starts back up fresh, rested, excited and ready for a new school year.
Your favourite kids’ book?
Oh that’s easy! Definitely Tanka Tanka Skunk.
Tell us what’s on the top shelf of your fridge right now
On top of my fridge is an electric popcorn maker that hasn’t been used … possibly ever!
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a showgirl in Las Vegas.
