What qualification are you most proud of and why?

My BSc (Open) in Psychology and Child Development. I gained my degree while working as a legal secretary in London. I studied at home, in my spare time, back in the day before high-speed broadband!

What’s your favourite thing about working in and around Hassocks?

I love the views of the South Downs and all the friendly faces.

What’s your favourite thing about working with Kudize kids?

The funny and often wise things they say and getting to know each individual.

Do you have a secret talent? Or can you tell us something about yourself that most people would not know?

I have a highly developed sense of smell – not always an advantage!

What’s your super power when at work?

I’m calm and fun and I love all things art and crafty.

What’s your favourite time of year – and why?

Spring/Summer – I love seeing all the signs of new life and really enjoy the longer days and sunshine.

Your favourite kids’ book?

Can I choose two? The Snail and the Whale by Julia Donaldson and The Empty Stocking by Richard Curtis.

Quite a few jars of savoury sauces, mustards and pickled things!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A game ranger in Africa!
